RIVER FALLS BRASS
The River Falls Brass is the faculty brass quintet at the University Wisconsin - River Falls. Members include Tom Barnett and Craig Hara on Trumpet, Michael Petruconis on Horn, Rick Gaynor on Trombone, and Chuck Wazanowski on Tuba. Since this groups founding in January of 2002 they have presented concerts and clinics throughout western Wisconsin and the Twin Cities area. The River Falls Brass has recently been a featured performing group at the Composers Society International Conference, the Wisconsin Music Educators Conference, the Hawaii International Conference on Arts and Humanities in Honolulu, and at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI.
PROGRAM (General Description)
-- What is chamber music? Performing in small groups such as: Trios, Quartets, Quintets of different or like instruments.
-- Why chamber music? Great literature. Fun to play. Challenging. Improve your sound, intonation, rhythm, technique and range.

Residential Students will be sent information regarding check-in date and time.
FACILITIES, FEES, MEALS & LODGING
The camp is located at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. Rehearsals, classes and concerts take place in the Kleinpell Fine Arts Center. Students are housed in the University dormitories (double occupancy). Students may use the UWRF recreational facilities, including the swimming pool, tennis courts, and ball fields. There is also trout fishing in the Kinnickinnic River which runs through the campus. Meals will be provided at Rodli Commons.

REGISTRATION & FEES
Enrollment in The River Falls Brass Chamber Music Camp is limited to approximately 30 students. Registrations will be accepted in order received.

Improve your sound, intonation,
rhythm, technique and range by working on an individual basis with instructors.
(NOTE: Parents may expect to sign students up for 2 - 3 half hour sessions
or 1 - 2 one hour sessions, on an average basis but may choose any quantity
desired).
$20 - 1/2 hour lesson $40 - 1 hour lesson
